Shops Rationale
1. 40 designs every 3 days is a huge ask, and it meant that unless you used AI (or posted AI designs), you couldn't keep up. The reduction in stock should make it easier for shop owners who want to use their own designs to thrive, without burning them out.
2. The competition aspect of it is to give the community a chance to vote on which shops they want to support and see stick around. If this ends up introducing some unhealthy price gouging, I'll look into ways of combatting that.
Lastly, shop owners have been making 4,000 Koinz per DC (~2500 if we're taking into account the bid). I know even some shop owners can agree, that a small shops nerf was inevitable. We still love and support our shop owners though, and hopefully this change can bring with it some quality designs for us all :-)

I don't think that's gonna incentivize anyone to post 'better designs.' It's just gonna make people wait until the last second to upload an overpriced design and have a friend buy it just to move on to the next week :/

It’s a new way to try shops and I think we should all give it a shot at least. The only thing I think might struggle will be new people trying to get into shops in general? Prices for shops will go up and I feel like if you aren’t designing things yourself then it’s almost impossible to make a profit.
Because you’d have to buy expensive perms from designers and you need to buy in 3’s to even post
CarltonRS I mean I feel like shops should be primarly for designers in the first place to get the worth back for their work, always thought buying perms was especially for gifting shops
the update is great! as for the stock, we'll get used to it.
I was having to ask for more uploads to accommodate the 40 designs and it was burning me out so I think this is great.
From the one time I tried a sales shop I did think 40 was too much yeah.
Are you going to do anything to ensure that people who don't move on can't just buy their way into the next cycle so we can get new faces?
NicoRobin If people want to waste their koinz to potentially move on an extra time, I don’t think that’s a long term issue

DK I thought Kovaze was going to shut down with the response from this. I already had my goodbye blog ready and was sending out postcards to those I loved and hope to see again in the next site.
