His top blog is not it. 2 mods is closer to what this site needs, not 8. Also the only people to blame for the mods getting fired are the mods themselves

koolness234 i would strongly disagree that all 8 mods did it to themselves, which sin has also agreed with. some of the mods, perhaps. but not all.

Tisha sorry if it came off that way, since I know how hard it can be to moderate and I don’t think all 8 had a hand in it. However from moderating a moderation team really needs to present a unified front, which with 8 people is impossible. Furthermore some mods did a horrible job keeping anonymity but pretending anonymity was needed. Overall I’ve always said the failure of a mod team is a coordinated effort, and most mod teams should go down together. However I strongly doubt any of you were perfect as I fucked up as a moderator more times than I can count. I think I benefited from their being less mods, so we were able to put in a unified front. Also some moderators revealed that when increasing the size of your team there was a vote and moderators were making deals to assign certain members points. I honestly think if this was true this was the biggest thing that caused the teams failures. Please don’t take it as I think the mods did a horrible job, or were bad. I just think the system and the way this team choose to moderate was destined for failure
