I'm embarrassed
to say that I've been here a few weeks and I still have no idea how the shops work. I just wait and see if I like something and then I buy it if I can. But if I wanna upload/buy designs I need to buy permissions first, then open a shop? Is there a way I can just reach out to someone who made something and ask to buy it from them?
Anyways, someone please explain like I'm 5.

There are 3 ways you can acquire designs permissions: 1) make the design yourself and upload it 2) purchase a design permission (you buy a permission for 1 stock at a time), only for designs that allowed the purchase of those said permissions 3) ask a user that owns a design to give you permission to post that design, often while gifting them that or something else to post those said designs you have to bid for a shop, you have 2 types of shops 1) gifting shop: you get 27 stock and you can post designs with minimum of 3 stock at a time (so basically you can post up to 9 designs in your gifting shop), only you are allowed to purchase and gift those designs from your gifting shop 2) competing shop: you get 30 stock and you can post designs for a minimum of 300 koinz, the minimum is 1 stock, you cannot purchase or gift from your own competing shop the only other way to purchase / gift designs at this moment is from competing shops that are not yours, their stock is often mostly posted on shops dc (you can tell when it ends with the timer "Round Timer: 10h 45m") and most of the good stuff gets sold out pretty quick
