Season 2 is here. I’m hosting another music game on the blog page and I’m looking for about 16-18 people to sign up. Each week will have a set theme, and you’ll have 24 hours to send me a song that fits the theme via mail or Discord. I’ll be keeping a spreadsheet of songs that have already been used, so if your song has already been picked for that round, I’ll ask you to choose another one. Each week, songs will be judged based on how well they fit the theme and how much I personally enjoy them. The lowest rated submission will be eliminated, with the occasional double elimination, until we have a winner. The final category was Feel Good Anthem. Daze submitted Shake It Off by Taylor Swift. DK submitted Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield Manon submitted Summertime by FLO It was a tough final round, but unfortunately only one of you had the winning song, and the others will be walking away empty handed. In third place is… Daze with Shake It Off. Daze, I love Taylor, but even you said this would not have been your first choice, and it would not have been mine either. I find this to be one of her more repetitive songs. That leaves us with two finalists… DK and Manon. The person walking away with a gift of their choice is… DK with Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. Congrats, DK. You truly had the song that best fit the category. Message me whenever you see something in shops you want. Manon, I honestly thought you might take this. You were a strong contender throughout the entire competition, but in the end, Unwritten stood out just a bit more to me.

However, the other three songs represent very strong comeback or reinvention moments, while this one feels more like Sabrina’s breakout moment.
