DNTM Photo

#DNTM3 I worked really hard on a creative version of this photo and I was really proud of it, but due to a technicality (hoop vs. rim) I knew I couldn't submit it to the competition, but I wanted to share it here. I took about 4 hours on and off all day making the first version and 7 minutes to take it into the final version right at the last second so my final version wasn't as polished as I would have liked but lesson learned! I do still think the final version is still good, but I for sure know what some of the critiques will be. My photo is inspired by a recent IRL partnership between Balenciaga and the NBA. I thought it fit this brief perfectly as we were meant to bring high fashion into basketball, so I pulled my outfit inspiration from a sexy editorial I saw. Here was my original concept I worked for hours: And then here is my final submitted version that I adjusted right before the cut off: I still like both versions, but I liked the story element of the first photo and the pose is stronger. I had to spend like 25 attempts at the prompts to tweak the feet and hands and even though it wasn't exactly right even in the original it was better than the final so oh well. :) Hope to stay in the competition and get another chance to make more improvements!
