🌲ROUND 33 - 07:46h🌲 Game Event: Black Rain Disturbing static noises echo across the Forest. __________________________________________ Paul tightens her grip on her Pages and begins walking toward the Exit Gate. The low static hum fills the field. Strange distortions flicker between the transmission towers. Beyond the fence, freedom is only a short distance away. Paul: Finally. My future boyfriend will be so proud of me. Then the static suddenly grows louder. Several meters ahead, directly between her and the Exit Gate, a tall faceless figure appears. Paul: Oh my god... IT'S YOU! Slenderman stands motionless. Paul: Wait, are you here to congratulate me? A black tentacle suddenly launches from behind Slenderman's back. Paul: NEVER MIND— The tentacle shoots straight toward her torso. Paul trips backward.The tentacle passes directly through the gaps between her exposed ribs and slams into the ground behind her. Paul: Did... did you just miss? Another tentacle pauses halfway through the air. Paul crashes onto her back. Her vodka bottle slips from her hand, hits the ground and breaks. A pale blue light immediately rises from the broken glass. Paul's eyes widen. Paul: Wait... The glowing figure of a skeletal woman slowly forms before her. Paul instantly recognizes the voice. Sister Skeleton: Hello again. Paul: SISTER SKELETON?! Sister Skeleton: Thank you for the vodka. Paul: YOU WERE INSIDE THE BOTTLE THIS WHOLE TIME?! Sister Skeleton: Not exactly. But your offering at my grave allowed me to remain close. Several tentacles begin slithering through the static behind them. Paul quickly gets to her feet. Paul: You know, when you started talking to me from that grave, I thought I was developing a drinking problem. Sister Skeleton: You were. The Skeleton Sister turns toward Slenderman. Paul: I don't think he's letting me leave. Sister Skeleton: Then I shall delay him. The static intensifies across the field. Slenderman's tentacles slowly spread behind him. Paul: Sister Skeleton... Sister Skeleton: Now go. A burst of pale blue light erupts from the spirit. The static around Slenderman violently distorts. The black rain across the Forest stops. Sister Skeleton: RUN! Paul turns and sprints toward the Exit Gate as the field erupts with static behind her. Sister Skeleton: Make us proud, skinny legend. Paul stumbles through the Exit Gate and nearly collapses on the other side. For a few moments she simply stands there, breathing heavily. Behind her, the Static Field continues to hum. Ahead, only soft morning fog stretches into the distance. Paul looks down at her Pages. The ink begins to disappear. One by one, the messages fade until every page is completely blank. Paul: Well... I guess I won't be needing these anymore. A warm breeze brushes through her curls. Paul glances back one final time toward the forest beyond the gate. Paul: Thank you, Sister Skeleton. Then she smiles. Paul: And goodbye, you weird haunted forest. Paul turns around and walks into the morning fog. Her silhouette slowly disappears into the light beyond, leaving the forest and all its horrors behind at last. Paul has escaped The Forest. ✨ __________________________________________ A little later Marquis and Joji enter The Static Field. There they see Slenderman, waiting for them. Marquis: This is it, I guess. Joji: The end of the line..
