I think a lot of people miss why empathy is running thin. Most people aren't angry because someone prefers a different tax policy. They're angry because "other issues matter more" is often used to justify supporting politicians who target LGBTQ people, immigrants, women, and other marginalized groups. Is saying Republicans shouldn't be on a website extreme? Yeah, probably. But acting like people's frustration came out of nowhere is weird too. We've spent years being told to empathize with people who vote for politicians that make our lives harder, then get called intolerant when we're angry about it. At some point people stop seeing it as a disagreement over politics and start seeing it as a disagreement over whether they deserve the same rights and respect as everyone else.

Here's what went down. - Dimitra was still bored not finding any action in the Villa. While Kodua was away, Dimi pulled PosterBoy for a chat by the pool. The two spent the day putting sunscreen on one another. It wasn't anything too romantic, but this upset Sprite. She felt Dimi was acting too loose and needed to back off her man. Sprite later was seen in the photo booth ripping up Dimitra's signature pink wig - Lewis and Justini had a lot of open dialogue for the entire Villa to see. Lewis wasn't too keen on Justini being open to connection with other Islanders still, he wanted to close things off. Justini stayed flirty and fun with everyone, accepting some sunscreen from PosterBoy. - The rest of the Islanders were on their best behavior trying to get the votes from the fans, boring Angie Madix in the process. Since I was bored it was time to reveal the results of the Poll. Coming in first place and earning a special trip to the Hideaway Suite is Glitter and unfortunate! They have been a couple since day 1 so it's no shock to see them gaining the support of the audience. Now that they are en route to the Hideaway, will their bond become even stronger? Hello everyone! I am in the creative state to start a Kovaze Scream Game Blog! I was inspired by Fancy ’s Slenderman Blog game, and this will work somewhat similarly. How it works is that there will be 2 blogs that make up one episode, with a total of 10 Episodes in the Season. The first blog will be story/lore based on the NPCs and events they are doing, which is just some basic setup for what is to come. At the end of the blog, you will go in the comments and choose which NPC you are going to follow/explore/hang out with, along with an action of RUN or HIDE. - RUN: If the killer(s) attack your location, your instinct is to run like hell towards hopeful safety. - HIDE: If the killer(s) attack your location, your instinct is to hide and pray until they leave. For example, if you want to follow an NPC to the House Party, you would leave a list like “Going with NPC to the House Party. Choosing to RUN as my action.” Anyone who doesn’t submit an action will select the least popular event/location with the action of RUN. The second blog will be the second half of the episode with all of the choices coming into effect with Ghostface(s) Attacking! Ghostface can attack at least 1 event/location each episode. At least 2 episodes will have more than 1 Attack happening. If your event/location is under attack, your action is what is going to keep you alive or get you killed in the end. Ghostface will be programmed to attack either HIDE or RUN that episode. If in that episode Ghostface attacks your action, you will die. For example, if Ghostface is programmed to attack HIDE that episode, all players who chose HIDE will be killed/attacked. This cycle will repeat until the Finale, where everyone will choose between two events and with a final set of 3 actions. If you are able to survive until the end, you win and survive the Ghostface massacre! Story wise, you become a Survivor alongside any others. ~ When you sign up, you also are able to pick one Character Perk. These perks are able to save you if your character makes a bad decision that could lead to their death! Character Perks: 👟 OPPORTUNIST: When you use the RUN action, you will automatically survive even if Ghostface attacks the RUN action that episode- at the expense of someone else. Opportunist has a cooldown of 3 episodes once activated. 🗡️DIVERSION: When you use the HIDE action, you will automatically survive even if Ghostface attacks the HIDE action that turn- at the expense of someone else. Diversion has a cooldown of 3 episodes once activated. 👊 FIGHTER: You unlock a third action- FIGHT. When you use the FIGHT action, you will declare yourself and someone else by naming an NPC or another Character. They must be in the same event/location you are going to. Whoever you choose, you will copy their selected action and stun Ghostface if they were to attack you both, allowing escape for the two of you. Fighter has a cooldown of 3 episodes once activated. 🔄 OBSESSION: Ghostface(s) have taken a liken to you. Ghostface is more likely to attack your location. In return, Ghostface can only kill you from Episode 7 onwards. 🍀 LUCKY: When Ghostface attacks your event/location, you have a 50% to survive every time you make a bad decision. ✨HOPE: You made it this far, you cannot die now. During the finale, you can survive 1 Attack from Ghostface if that was supposed to kill you. 🎭 SUSPECT: Once in the season, you can decide to be a suspect and the Police will take you in for questioning. Instead of picking actions that episode, you will mention that you are using the SUSPECT perk. In that episode, you are immune from being killed as you are stuck in police custody, and after the episode you will be released. SUSPECT can only be used from Episodes 2-8. ~ STORY: The bustling beach town of Goldpeak, Michigan sits along the magnificant Lake Michigan coastline, where it's beautiful beaches, prized local University, and tourist attractions bring in thousands of people every year. Ollidel University houses a few thousand students on it's stunning beachfront and city center campuses, excelling in a wide variety of programs for every student to major in. However, Ollidel University hasn't always had a pretty track record.. but neither has the town itself. The beaches in this town haven't always been so golden, and this incoming freshmen class is going to uncover the dark, hidden truth as to what really goes down at University. One class in particular, Movies and their Influence 301, taught by Professor Esmeralda Onyx, will be the focus of this story, as a serial killer's wake seems to target people in the class. NPCs: - Viola Vieau, Female, 19, attending Ollidel university and decided to take Movies and their Influence 301 for fun. Works at the local Bigby coffee shop and likes to volunteer from time to time. - Kwon Dong-Jae, Male, 20, attending Ollidel university with a passion for helping others. Taking the Movie class as an 'expressive elective', although it really isn't up his alley. Takes his classes seriously but also helps out his friends from time to time when they need him. - Cody Ozolith, Male, 22, attending Ollidel university and grandson to the mayor of Goldpeak, Oscar Ozolith. A bit of a nepo baby. Personally invited by Professor Onyx to take the class. - Osamori Kojima, Female, 20, attending Ollidel University majoring in Literature. Movies and their Influence 301 is apart of her class roster. Silent, observant, cunning. Always is writing about something or someone. - Fatima Hardy, Female, 19, attending Ollidel University to be at the beach 24/7. Randomly picked college courses, does not care about it at all. Here for a fun time not a long time. - Gideon Apostolos, Male, 21, attending Ollidel University majoring in Music. Musical compositions in movies was something that fascinated him, so he took Onyx's class to strengthen his knowledge. Strong, faithful, and charming. - Jorge Castillo, Male, 24, attending Ollidel University and is ready to get the hell out of there. He finished all of the classes in his major and decided that his last semester is going to be filled with easy electives to hit the credits needed to graduate... so Movies and their Influence 301 better be good. Works at a popular gas station to support himself. - Sabine Obst, Female, 20, attending Ollidel University with a passion for science. A pretty awkward individual, she decided to attend classes outside of her path to make some new friends. A freshmen class about movie psychology seemed to be a good place to do so, she guesses. - Sheriff Rocco Bellini, Male, 48, ongoing Sheriff of Goldpeak for five years now. Highly praised and hard working, Sheriff Bellini has a clean record and immaculate record of catching criminals in his town. - Meryl Wolfe, Female, 33, local Journalist for the Peak of Gold newspaper. Always on a hunch, this journalist has a knack for solving mysterious and theories about the town. Her next big case is something that the town might not be ready for, but she is always a conveyor for the truth. - Esmeralda Onyx, Female, 45, professor at Ollidel University, teaching Movies and their Influence 301. She is particular with her curriculum and wants student to succeed, but also realize what is being presented to them. - Oscar Ozolith, Male, 51, Mayor of Goldpeak. He likes to make appearances at local events to make sure things are going well. He is a smooth talker, always smiling, and seems to have a good rapport with the general public. #DNTM4 Photoshoot 1 Review. I'm back baby! I am going to go back to critiquing photos this season, but I will be doing things a little differently. I will be ranking the photos 1-10 based on 4 key elements that make up a good photo: Pose, Face, Styling, and Overall photo composition. Then if someone didn’t follow the brief I will take off 1 point for a minor infraction or 3 points for a major infraction from the average. (ALSO please remember I only critique photos in good spirits so if you choose to read them they might help you in future photos. I point out more flaws than positives just to help out, not to try to make anyone feel bad) MissMiranda Pose: 6 Face: 8 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 7 I know it is hard to cram the model into a small box without looking short, but I would have liked to see your legs extend out of the box because right now they look very short. The outfit is the same color as the padding in the box and somehow your hair, so it all sort of blends together. For a first photo its pretty good and I can see the potential for sure! Your proportions are a bit off with your head/body and I think maybe to add a little more balance to the photo the box could have been tilted diagonally or a few less packages behind you pulling focus. I like the pose but given what you are wearing you are not showing off the bows very well. The dress would work better if we could see the detailing in the front. The hip area also has a weird flow to it and the bottom leg should be shown. The rest looks luxury and clean. Total score: 6.75 minus 1.0 for minor brief infraction: 5.75 final score. Vanili Pose: 6 Face: 7 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 6 A couple of minor things could have taken this photo from safe to top photo. The pose is nearly there, but the shadow makes you lose some of your neck, and the hand above looks like you are holding a bar. Try making the hand a bit softer, or maybe press it against the edge of the box. I also think losing your other leg in the dress brings the score down for me. The last thing that would have made this photo score go up a lot would be adding in another color to contrast somewhere. The background in the box could have been some other color to help add some balance to the photo (white, silver, or even something with a different texture). This was a good first entry but if you focus on some of those small details, I could see you thriving in the next few photos. Total score: 6.25 Zee_ Pose: 9 Face: 8 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 8 This is a stunning photo. Great use of length for the pose. The box looks luxury. The only minor flaws would be the top hand is getting hidden behind the hair and could have added a bit more tension to the photo pressed against the ceiling which I think it is but hidden behind the hair. I like the simplicity of the composition and the use of shadows, but there is just a liiiiiiitle something extra missing for me to make the composition score go up. Great job overall! Total Score: 8.25 Amandasings04 Pose: 8 Face: 7 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 8 I personally don’t like the velvet walls, but I didn’t dock anything for that because I think it does fit the theme and adds good texture to the photo and compliments the outfit choice well. The photo overall is good and its clear you understand high fashion, but it just lacks something to make it really stand out. Maybe it is the shape of the jacket or a bit more clarity on the size of the box so the story makes more sense, I’m not sure. Total Score: 7.75 minus 1.0 for minor brief infraction for a total score of 6.75 Marilise Pose: 7 Face: 9 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 7 I like this photo, but some minor things are adding up to reduce some points. I am all for awkward pose angles as I think they make for a high fashion photo, but your hip area doesn’t look quite right. The legs are great and the top hand is good (Vanili take a note here). I can’t tell if the bow in your other hand is a clutch or part of the dress. I think it works better as a clutch but its not clear. The composition score was lowered due to the all-red dress, bow, and fabric in the box, and the bow on the box looking a bit wonky. Still a good first entry. Total Score: 7.25 Marquis Pose: 5 Face: 8 Styling: 7 Overall Photo Composition: 9 The concept is great and one of the most luxury looking photos for sure. Smart choice using diamonds for that. The pose got such a low score because although the upper body is strong your legs look pretty short and then one of your feet are missing completely. I think if you had your body going a bit more left to right across the width of the photo that would have dramatically helped the pose. The rest of the photo is quite good! Total score: 7.25 Fireflyyy Pose: 7 Face: 7 Styling: 7 Overall Photo Composition: 7 The photo is probably the best definition of safe. Theres nothing outstanding but also nothing glaringly bad about it. I enjoy the use of different textures in the outfit, and the closer crop does make your photo different than most, but it just lacks something that would make the photo jump off the page. It is almost too commercial I think. Again, good photo, but just want to see you push the concept a bit further to give it some edge. Total score: 7.0 LeQuishaQ Pose: 6 Face: 9 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 9 I love this photo. The use of the chocolates was really smart because it enhances the colors/textures of the photo and makes you stand out in the photo, and also stand out among the pack. I ranked the pose a 6 because whenever you do this kind of pose you really have to watch the back leg proportions. Tilt both a bit more to the side and you won’t look like they are getting stumpy on you. Otherwise, top notch entry. Total Score: 8.0 GuiltyAsSin Pose: 8 Face: 8 Styling: 9 Overall Photo Composition: 9 Love this photo. The simplicity of the composition puts all the focus on the amazing dress. It’s giving Tyra vibes. The only thing is I wish the eyes were smizing because we lose a little bit of the emotion in the face, but that’s basically my only issue with the photo. Maybe to be able to see your shoes, but I get the dress choice makes that forgivable because it makes sense we wouldn’t see a shoe unless you were walking. Total Score: 8.5 melanie Pose: 6 Face: 6 Styling: 6 Overall Photo Composition: 6 For a returning model I expected a bit more. Nothing in the photo makes it stand out for me, but there is only one stand out issue and that is the missing hand. I think the hand gets lost behind the legs and then gets cut off. Overall the photo is fine but for a returning player you can do better. Total Score: 6.0 SpaceLab Pose: 7 Face: 8 Styling: 5 Overall Photo Composition: 6 You as the model look great. The bent leg looks a liiiiitle wonky, but the grip of the tie and the facial expression are all great. You just need a new stylist and creative director lol. The photo isn’t giving luxury. I obviously get birthday, but I get child’s birthday party, and so a few different color choices could have elevated the photo a lot. Like even changing the wrapping paper would make a huge difference. Overall, strong potential as a model, just do some research on some high fashion editorials for some styling inspirations in the future. I do love the choice of coloring and textures that really saves the photo. I personally hate when it cuts the feet off half way, otherwise the pose is pretty good, but when combined with the face it just lacks that extra umph that this photo desperately needs. Total score: 6.75 Antog Pose: 9 Face: 8 Styling: 8 Overall Photo Composition: 7 This is how you do a comeback. Overall the photo is very strong. The few things that hold it back for me would be the background. This pose/outfit/styling are all super strong you could have left the extra boxes and whatever fantasy lighting is happening near the top and just simplified it and the photo would be much cleaner and impactful. I like you made the pillow white and textured, but then choosing a soft pink for the outfit made it a bit less impactful overall. Hate the shoe personally, but I enjoy the risk you took with it.
